To all the Saints of God,

Grace and peace be unto all the Saints of God around the World. As this Coronavirus Pandemic continues, we are continually reminding the Saints of God that we are obeying the magistrates and following the guideline of the health and governmental authorities for the safety of all people.

Health authorities and governmental officials continue to strongly encourage people to wear face coverings in public gatherings and use social distancing, wash your hands, and get tested to help stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus. In some places wearing face mask is mandatory in indoor and outdoor public spaces.

· As of May 26, 2021, the City of Atlanta, Georgia has moved to Phase 3 of the Reopening Plan

· Social distancing is recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to control the spread or for individual safety. Small limited gatherings with face mask are allowed.

· Covid-19 vaccinations in Georgia are offered to everyone 12 years of age and older. Note: Pfizer is the only COVID vaccine currently approved for children aged 12 and older.

We are continuing limited in person services and continuing online service through Zoom, Facebook, and YouTube. In person Baptism and prayer service are available using social distancing and personal protective equipment by emailing your request to:

As we obey the Magistrates, we have complete faith that God will continue to hear our prayers and provide a way for us through these uncertain times.

Are You Damaged by False Teaching? (part 1)

2Corinthians 7:8 -10 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season. Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.

Apostle Paul concedes that his Epistle made the Brethren sorry and begins a conciliatory outpouring of love in his explanation. Then Apostle Paul received through Titus the comforting and cheering news of the impression made by his Epistle. True, he had saddened the Brethren by his Epistle, but he did not regret that the Epistle caused them to be sorry because the effect of this saddening had caused the Brethren to be sorrowful and repent of their sinful ways turning toward Godly ways. And their sorrow in a Godly manner gave him joy, and made him glad, and of good courage in everything through their change in turning to a Godly manner.

When we preach the Word of God with authority in the truth, our goal is to cause you to see the sinful ways of all mankind and turn to God with a sorrowful heart asking him for forgiveness of your sins. We do not preach to cause you pain, hurt or suffering in your life. We preach because we would like for all people to have victory over all evil ways and not be misled and deceived by clever words intending to mislead mankind into indulging in the pleasure of sin that will send them to hell.

Because people do not like words that are restrictive to their desires for pleasure, they are usually easily misled when promised things that brings them wealth and pleasure. The desire for wealth and pleasure can blind their mind of sight of the harmful death they will receive in the end. This is why speakers who are trying to impress people sometime focus on the way to gaining wealth.

The cunning man or woman shows skill in deceit and evasion many times by appealing to the baser desire and lust of human beings. This is why the sensual, sexy appearance of women is used for so many products for sale and not the usefulness of the product itself. The ungodly woman will not be a Godly wife unless she turns from her sinful ways with a repentant heart and turn to God asking for forgiveness. Neither will the ungodly man make a Godly husband if he rejects the righteous ways of God. Those who believe the Words of God and desire to be a Saint of God will have to live a Holy life regardless of the situation that surrounds them if they do not want to suffer eternal damage by giving in to false teaching and worldly compromise.

Proverbs 5:1 – 6 My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding: That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge. For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them.

We must continue to preach and teach the truth even if they accuse us of heresy when we know that we are preaching, teaching, living, and obeying the Apostle’s Doctrine which is the True Word of God. Those that call teaching the Oneness Doctrine of the Godhead heresy are preaching eternal damage to all mankind. For there is Only One God and no other God but him. They accused Apostle Paul of heresy for teaching the resurrection of the dead which is the true Word of God.

Acts 24:14 - 21 But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets: And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust. And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men. Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings. Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult. Who ought to have been here before thee, and object, if they had ought against me. Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council, Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.

To allow for the Preaching of the True Apostle’s Doctrine, society throughout history had to stand on the grounds of religious freedom. This was to allow a person to make a choice based on obedience to Words of God recorded in the Bible moved by the dictates of his own conscience. Evil people will use death threats in some places to stop the truth about the resurrections and hell, but the bible is clear even in the Old testaments that some will awake to everlasting contempt or punishment and suffering.

Daniel 12:1 – 3 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book. And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Psalms 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

So we can see from the twenty-fourth chapter of the Book of Acts of the Apostles in the New Testament of the Christian Bible from the previous paragraph reference that Apostle Paul is in imprison for at least two years in Caesarea for preaching what is contained in the Prophets. Apostle Paul defends himself of events in Jerusalem indicating that he had not been involved in disputes or riots and no offence against the law could be proved against him, yet he was in prison.

Many people define heresy as any belief, teaching, or doctrine that is not according to established or accepted beliefs, customs, or in some cases the traditions of a church or religious organization and not by the Bible or the Apostle’s Doctrine. In defining heresy based on their own ways and opinions they are making an agreement with hell. The term heresy is usually used in reference to violations of organizational religious teachings or views strongly opposed to the accepted ideas of an organization.

You can see that people can easily define someone as a heretic who does not agree with the opinion of their organization even if the person is a believer and teaching of the biblically correct Apostle’s Doctrine. You can clearly see that many of the doctrines and religious celebration that some Churches teach and observe are not the teachings of the Apostle’s Doctrine and yet they have labored the Doctrine of the Oneness of the Godhead a heresy which is clearly what the Biblical Apostle’s Taught.

No Biblical Apostle taught three separate and distinct persons in the Godhead. No Biblical Apostle Baptized people by calling the titles father, son, and Holy Ghost. The Apostle Baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ as stated in Acts 2:38. Which is the way the believers in the Oneness of the Godhead baptize people today and yet some false teachers and preachers proceed with accusing the teaching as heresy. The True Saints of God will measure all teaching by the Apostle’s Doctrine and not the opinion of ungodly men seeking to justify their own actions and desire for the pleasure of sin.

It is recorded that heresiology, the study of heresy developed from what is commonly called orthodoxy or teaching in line with the Catholic Church of the Roman Empire. Church scholars studied and documented the teachings of various Christian sects in order to clearly distinguish between those they accepted as orthodox and those they rejected as heretical.

Other Christian communions developed their own competing heresiological traditions as well arguing the falseness of sects and religions other than their own. In many cases anyone teaching ideas deemed heretical whether it was truth based on the bible according to what the Biblical Apostles actually taught, said and did or whether it was false based on the opinions of men was dealt with by excommunication which is to put them out of the organization or even sentence them to the death penalty by some organizations in the past and possibly event at this present time.

From this they are able to cause great damage to all mankind by promoting their own ideas and opinions even if it is a known false teaching. Heresy in the Bible is teaching a gospel other than the Apostle’s Doctrine.

Galatians 1:6 - 8 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

AN AGREEMENT WITH HELL (part 1)

This is Bishop S. McDowell Shelton coming to you from the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. We are coming to you to let you know that God has but one Church and that is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ; the one that was started on the day of Pentecost when 3,000 souls were added to the Church. Yes, it. is true that God has but one plan of salvation. We cannot say that too frequently for the very fact that there is still one person (and there is more than one) who has not obeyed what we preach and is still 'in darkness, we must tell them what they must do “in order to saved.” The whole world is out there in darkness unless they obey what we are saying. Therefore, until everyone and obeys this gospel, then we must preach and tell mankind that there is but one plan of salvation.

We must tell him what he must do concerning his salvation. We must tell him that is going to make his bed shorter.

Isaiah 28:20 For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.

He is going to make it so short until he will not be able to stretch himself. In other words, God is going to put him in misery. You will not be in misery by your own choosing —for" some people love to afflict themselves. They love to create misery love to be miserable. Their favorite pastime is making themselves miserable and everybody else who is foolish enough to be drawn into their miserable state.

This is not that kind of misery. The kind you love is 'the kind that has afflicted on you by man and when the situation is over or that individual dies, perhaps, some of that misery will cease. This is a misery that God is going to afflict man. In other words, God is going to afflict upon you the feeling of complete and absolute discomfort. where there will no ease. There just will not be any comfort. There will be no balm; nor ease, nor will there be any relief. You are going to be perpetually discomforted forever and ever.

The reason for this is because you have made a covenant with death. "And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, they ye shall be trodden by it." (Isaiah 29:18)

Your covenant with death is going to be done away with. You made an agreement with hell when you joined that false church. You made an agreement with hell when you agreed to accept Christ as: “your personal” Savior. You used the titles of Jesus, but it a covenant with death.

I have a continuous battle with hell, but it shall be like the war that went on between the house of David and the house of Saul. It was a long war. The house of David got stronger and stronger while the house-of Saul weaker and weaker. Likewise are we going to fight the good faith until the day when Satan is chained a thousand years.

Those who are baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins and who have the Holy speaking in, other tongues as the Spirit of God gives them utterance and have continued steadfastly in the Apostolic doctrine, have not made an agreement with hell. They have not permitted the teachings of the pagan festivals such-as Christmas which Jesus Christ never endorsed.

People are talking putting Christ back in Christmas when he was never in it. The only ones that ever put him in this pagan festival in the first place was someone that did not know the Bible. Until they find out when He was born, they had better take him out of their so-called Christmas and take his so-called birthdate off the calendar.

You made an agreement with hell with bright lights and various colored hangings and decorations so that the merchants, so that the merchants, manufacturers, and lobbyists in the world would prosper and they would be carnally moved. This pagan festival is nothing more than an economic situation.

"From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it over,' by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report (Isaiah 28:19)

You are going to be trodden down; overwhelmed and consumed with your own doings. It is not going to pass over in just one day. You will have a longtime to figure this thing out and to see where you made your mistakes. You will have a long time to see that there is no such thing as three persons in the Godhead. You will have a long time to see that false prophet whom you loved so well was not of God. Of course, you knew this in the beginning, but you like a kind of prestige that you felt he brought to you. You like to brag about who your speaker was. About his, background; where he went to school and what have you. You were not concerned about the Truth of God. Whenever people try to talk to me about my background and education; about my credentials, I always bring them back to the Word for is it not written that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God? (See Luke 4:4)

Luke 4:3 - 4 And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread. Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Vexation is going to come you. Morning by morning it shall pass over. When night falls there is still no relief. When day breaks—no relief. Torture by day and by night. It shall be vexation just to understand the report. It is going to be vexation to know what this thing is all about then you have to” know what is happening to bring about the discomfort. My, my! Just to understand it and know about it; just to be aware of what is going to happen is vexation. In other words, you saw it one morning and then the next morning. You know you are falling in hell and you know that the next day it is going to the same thing. It is enough vexation just to know, but you have to go through this thing for ever and ever.

May the Lord Bless you and Keep you and eternally hold you in the center of his will, may he open your understanding that you will come to know that you must repent of your sins and be baptized by immersion in water in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, then continue in prayer, tarrying until you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the sign following speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives you utterances. Then you must leave the principles of the doctrine and go on to perfection overcoming the love of the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life and continue steadfastly in the Apostle’s Doctrine remembering always that he that endures until the End, the same shall be saved. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ who is God Almighty. Amen

Present Guidelines for Individual and Businesses in PHASE 3: MAINTAIN (GREEN ZONE)

· Limited trips outside; vulnerable populations should continue to stay home

· Wearing a face mask in public is a mandate

· Frequent hand washing

· Social distancing

· Limited occupancy in food and retail establishments to accommodate social distancing

· Continue practicing teleworking where feasible.

· Frequent cleaning of public and high touch areas

· Small gatherings with social distancing

· Non-essential City facilities remain closed to the public

· City continues to accept special event applications subject to COVID safety requirements

· Continue communication with local and State authorities to monitor public health metrics

Social Distancing guidelines:

· Social distancing means staying away from close contact in public spaces. It includes actions like staying out of places where lots of people gather and maintaining distance — approximately 6 feet — from others.

· Social distancing also includes minimizing contact with people when possible, limiting nonessential travel, working from home, and skipping social gatherings.

· All people should practice social distancing — not just those who are seriously ill or at high risk.

· Social distancing is a proven way to slow the spread of pandemics.

When to Wear a Mask:

Those who are staying home and have no close contact with people who are infected with COIVID-19 do not need a mask most of the time. However, wearing a nonmedical or homemade mask may be helpful in certain situations or for certain populations. Wear a Mask when:

· Shopping at essential businesses, like grocery stores or pharmacies.

· While visiting your health care provider.

· Traveling on public transportation.

· Interacting with customers/clients at essential businesses.

· When feeling sick, coughing, or sneezing.

· In all public spaces indoors and outdoors.

Because homemade masks protect everyone else from the droplets created by the wearer, it is important that as many people as possible wear these masks when leaving their homes. This helps prevent those who may be infectious but are only mildly symptomatic or not symptomatic from spreading the virus to others in the community.

Everyone should remember the phrase: “My mask protects you; your mask protects me.” By increasing the overall number of people who are containing their coughs, sneezes, and other droplets, it will help us control the overall spread of the virus.
