To all the
Saints of God,

Grace and peace be unto all the Saints of God around the World.  As this
Coronavirus Pandemic continues, we are continually reminding the Saints of God
that we are obeying the magistrates and following the guideline of the health
and governmental authorities for the safety of all people.

 Health authorities and
governmental officials continue to strongly encourage people to wear face
coverings in public gatherings and use social distancing, wash your hands, and
get tested to help stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus.  In
some places wearing face mask is mandatory in indoor public spaces.

We are continuing limited indoor, in-person services with face mask, social
distancing, temperature checks and Covid-19 testing. We are also continuing
online services through Zoom, Facebook, and YouTube.   In-person Baptism and
prayer service are available by attending our local service on site, attending
our services on Zoom, or emailing your request to:

info@ministersofjesuschrist.com or prayerrequest@ministersofjesuschrist.com.

      As
we obey the Magistrates, we have complete faith that God will continue to hear
our prayers and provide a way for us through these uncertain times.

 Romans
13:2-4 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no
power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

 TITUS 3:1-2 Put
them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to
be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but
gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

 This week’s
encouraging words of growth focuses on:

Mothers can be
More than Conquerors
By Apostle
Dennis G. Smith

We would like to wish all the families a Happy Mother’s Day!!  We
hope that you will remember your mothers every day of the Year. We would like to
focus on the theme of conquering or overcoming the things that hinder us in
daily life.

We are more than Conquerors though our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.   We
have the power to defeat all obstacles in our life. We can defeat feeling of
hurt and disappointment. We can defeat hate and sinful ways. We can defeat
feeling of regret and despondency by walking in the newness of life each day,
and remembering that we have been reborn.
Romans 8:27 - 39 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Romans 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
Romans 8:33 Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.
Romans 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Romans 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Romans 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Romans 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other
creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ
Jesus our Lord.
From this text of the scripture, we can all build positive thoughts, hopes and remembrance of the Love of a Good Mother or the Mother figure in our lives. We expect nothing to be able to separate us from our Mother’s love.

We can truly say that love will conqueror all. We know that Nothing can
separate us from the Love of God.  Just the way we are connected to
our Mother in her womb, or we bond to a Mother figure who shows us her
unconditional love, we expect this connection to continue throughout our lives.
The pure bonding love of a Mother helps us develop a pure heart that leads us in
the direction of Godly love.
Matthew 5:8 Blessed
are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

We would like to encourage all women to remember to function as a Good mother
in the home and in every place that you attend. You are special and precious to
everyone throughout the entire world. God created you for a unique purpose.
Magnify your purpose with your humility in living according to the Word of God.
Teach the younger women to also be chaste, loyal to their family duties,
functioning with a pure and clean heart.
Psalms113:9 He
maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful
mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.
There is a unique place for all women to all the children throughout the world in that we look upon them all expecting the loving communication, connection and touch of a Mother. Even though other women may not be our biological mother, yet the children of the world expect the caring touch of a mother when they see other women.
In many cases or perhaps in most cases this is true of most women even when they are little girls playing with dolls or taking care of animals, they show their caring touch. The brother looks upon his sister and expect her to show the caring love of his mother. The husband rejoices in a wife that cares about him and the family.

The good mother is obedient in that she does her motherly duties with loving
care and teaches her daughters to love and care for the entire family.  She
teaches her daughter the duties necessary to promote the health and well-being
of the entire household. The women of the churches, schools, and general
neighborhoods are looked upon with the expectation that they will have some
caring touch for all children and all mankind. In other words, we expect the
behavior of all women to have the caring touch of a mother.
Titus 2:3 - 5 The
aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false
accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;   Titus
2:4 That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to
love their children,  Titus 2:5 To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home,
good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
As many families celebrate this holiday today, we thank our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ for all the Women of the world. And we pray that you all will
continue to grow in the purpose and role of a Mother.  On this day most
people will not reflect on those that are bad mothers, but will remember the
good things and defeat the obstacles that separate them from pure love. Again,
have a Happy Mother’s Day celebration!!!
We will continue the examination of the topic " Is Jesus Christ the Son of God
Now?" … Next
week..

May the Lord
Bless you and Keep you and eternally hold you in the center of his will.
May he open
your understanding that you will come to know that you must repent of your sins
and be baptized by immersion in water in the Name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of your sins.

Then you must
continue in prayer to God asking him for the Holy Ghost, calling on the Name of
the Lord Jesus Christ and waiting or tarrying until you receive the gift of the
Holy Ghost with the sign following speaking with other tongues as the spirit
gives you utterances.

Then you must
leave the principles of the doctrine and go on to perfection overcoming the love
of the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life.

Then you must
continue steadfastly in the Apostle’s Doctrine remembering always that he that
endures until the End, the same shall be saved.  In the name of the Lord
Jesus Christ who is God Almighty. Amen

With perfect
love,
Apostle Dennis
G. Smith

ONGOING GUIDANCE
• Vaccination
remains the most effective protection against COVID-19
• Practice
social distancing
• Frequently
wash hands
• Frequent
cleaning of public and high touch areas

Social
Distancing guidelines:
• Social
distancing means staying away from close contact in public spaces. It includes
actions like staying out of places where lots of people gather and maintaining
distance — approximately 6 feet — from others.
• Social
distancing also includes minimizing contact with people when possible, limiting
nonessential travel, working from home, and minimizing social gatherings.
• All people
should practice social distancing — not just those who are seriously ill or at
high risk.
• Social
distancing is a proven way to slow the spread of pandemics.

When to Wear
a Mask:
Those who are
staying home and have no close contact with people who are infected with
COIVID-19 do not need a mask most of the time. However, wearing a nonmedical or
homemade mask may be helpful in certain situations or for certain populations. Wear
a Mask when:
• Shopping at
essential businesses, like grocery stores or pharmacies.
• While
visiting your health care provider.
• Traveling on
public transportation.
• Interacting
with customers/clients at essential businesses.
• When feeling
sick, coughing, or sneezing.
• In all public
spaces indoors and outdoors.

Because
homemade masks protect everyone else from the droplets created by the wearer, it
is important that as many people as possible wear these masks when leaving their
homes. This helps prevent those who may be infectious but are only mildly
symptomatic or not symptomatic from spreading the virus to others in the
community.

Everyone should remember the phrase: “My mask protects you; your mask protects me.” By increasing the overall number of people who are containing their coughs, sneezes, and other droplets, it will help us control the overall spread of the virus.
