Date: September

To all the Saints
of God,

Grace and peace be unto all the Saints of God around the World.  As this
Coronavirus Pandemic continues, we are continually reminding the Saints of God
that we are obeying the magistrates and following the guideline of the health
and governmental authorities for the safety of all people.

 Health authorities and
governmental officials continue to strongly encourage people to wear face
coverings in public gatherings and use social distancing, wash your hands, and
get tested to help stop the spread of the Covid-19 virus.  In
some places wearing face mask is mandatory in indoor public spaces.

·
As of
September 22, 2021, the City of Atlanta, Georgia remains in the Red Zone due to
high community transmission of Covid-19.

·     Social
distancing and face mask are mandatory for gatherings to control the spread of
Covid-19 or for individual safety.

 ·
 Limited
Gatherings to avoid crowding with mandatory face mask and social distancing are
allowed.

 ·   Vaccinations
remains the recommended most effective way to control the spread of Covid-19 by
health authorities.

     ·   Covid-19
vaccinations in Georgia are offered to everyone 12 years of age and older.
Note: Pfizer is the only COVID vaccine currently approved for children aged 12 and older. Vaccines for Children below 12 are in the process of approval.

We are continuing limited in-person services with face mask, social distancing,
temperature checks and Covid-19 testing.  We are also continuing online services
through Zoom, Facebook, and YouTube.   In-person Baptism and prayer service are
available by attending our local service on site, attending our services on Zoom
or emailing your request to:

info@ministersofjesuschrist.com or prayerrequest@ministersofjesuschrist.com.

      As
we obey the Magistrates, we have complete faith that God will continue to hear
our prayers and provide a way for us through these uncertain times.

 Romans 13:2-4
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of
God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

 TITUS 3:1-2 Put
them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to
be ready to every good work, To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but
gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

 This
week’s encouraging words of growth focuses on:

 Nothing TOO
Hard For God

By Apostle
Dennis G. Smith
Genesis 18:11 - 19 Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and
it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.  Therefore
Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have
pleasure, my lord being old also?    And the LORD said unto
Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child,
which am old?   Is
anything too hard for the LORD?  At
the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and
Sarah shall have a son.   Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not;
for she was afraid.  And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh.   And
the men rose up from thence, and looked toward Sodom: and Abraham went with them
to bring them on the way.   And the LORD said, Shall I hide from
Abraham that thing which I do; Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great
and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?   For
I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and
they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD
may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
The miracles of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ reinforces
the statement that he is God and that there is nothing too hard for God.   His
miraculous deeds of healing the sick, making the blind to see, making the Dum to
talk, healing people by their faith, casting out demons and devils (exorcisms),
raising the dead (resurrections), walking on water, rebuking the fig tree,
calming the winds and the raging sea, changing water into wine all reveal his
control over natural order.  Then the transfiguration of the Lord
Jesus speaking to Moses and Elijah clearly establishes his control over the
afterlife.  And since it is clearly known that the Lord Jesus can
do anything but fail or lie, the only issue that is before us is whether or not
we will function according to his plan or to let his will be done in our life by
surrendering to his will in obedience to his commandments.
The Lord Jesus mixes spittle with dirt to make a clay mixture,
which he then places on a blind man's eyes.  Then he tells the
blind man to wash his eyes in the Pool of Siloam. When the blind man does this,
he is able to see.  This reveals his control over medical cures in
that he makes what some may come to see as a form of medicine, and the cure
works for the blind man because the man is obedient to the instructions of the
Lord Jesus Christ and experiences the power of God Almighty.
John 9:1 – 15   And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was
blind from his birth.   And his disciples asked him, saying,
Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?   Jesus
answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of
God should be made manifest in him.  I must work the works of him
that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.  As
long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.  When he
had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he
anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay, And said unto him, Go, wash in
the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way
therefore, and washed, and came seeing.  The neighbours therefore,
and they which before had seen him that he was blind, said, Is not this he that
sat and begged?   Some said, This is he: others said, He is like
him: but he said, I am he.  Therefore said they unto him, How were
thine eyes opened?   He answered and said, A man that is called
Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of
Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight. Then said they
unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not.  They brought to the
Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.  And it was the sabbath day
when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.  Then again the
Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He
put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.
The Lord Jesus feeds five thousand men from two fishes and five loaves of bread which shows his ability to provide our every need even when things appears to be impossible for man all things are possible with God.
Mark 6:34 - 44   And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was
moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a
shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.  And when the day was now
far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and
now the time is far passed:  Send them away, that they may go into the country
round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have
nothing to eat.  He answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And
they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give
them to eat?   He saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? go and see. And
when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.  And he commanded them to
make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.  And they sat down in
ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.  And when he had taken the five loaves
and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves,
and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he
among them all.   And they did all eat, and were filled.  And
they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.  And
they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.

This should not be difficult to believe or understand seeing that he made all
things and without him was not anything made that was made nevertheless many
so-called scholars are skeptical and some do not believe in the miracles of the
Lord Jesus Christ.  When we are aware of the unbelief of some
scholars, most people should come to understand why so many Churches have
teachers who are really not believers in the Word of God in that if they cannot
believe in the miracles of the Lord then it is highly doubtful that they believe
in the gospel of the virgin birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.  When
you come to know that the Lord Jesus Christ is God Almighty, the one that made
all things you then know that there is nothing too hard for God so that all the
miracles are truly revealing the power of God.
John 1:1 - 14 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.   All
things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.  In
him was life; and the life was the light of men.  And the light
shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.  There
was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to
bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.   He
was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.  That
was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.   He
was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.  He
came unto his own, and his own received him not.  But as many as
received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that
believe on his name:   Which were born, not of blood, nor of the
will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.   And the
Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as
of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

This scripture provide a clear reference in revealing that the Lord Jesus
Christ is God Almighty the one who made all things as stated in the beginning of
the Bible, the one who gave order to all things and brought forth all light.
Genesis 1:1- -3 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  And
the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the
deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.  And
God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

When we fully understand that Jesus Christ is the eternal God who made all
things, there is no conflict about whether or not he existed before his virgin
birth in Mary because he is the one frequently appearing, and making known to
his servants, the patriarchs and prophets, his divine will, in dreams and
visions, and various other ways.  The word was made flesh refers to
the fact that he became incarnate in a natural body and dwelt among human beings
as God and man.
When you come to believe that he made all things, it should
put an end to all doctrines that teach against miracles today and establish the
rule of truth in the Church, that there is one Almighty God, who made all things
both visible and invisible. He is also the one who calls all true believers to
salvation.  He is  the light that shines in darkness, and the
darkness comprehended it not that there is nothing too hard or impossible for
the Lord Jesus Christ to do for he is the Almighty God.

We continue with a Message from Apostle S.
C Johnson ………. “The POWER of GOD” ………

The POWER of GOD
By Apostle S. C Johnson
Greetings everyone in the name of Jesus Christ! We are glad again to have the privilege of coming to you by the way of radio: telling you the one and only plan by which men and women will be able to escape by the power of God—God's wrath. And of course, wherever the Word of God is, then the power of God accompanies that. Amen.
The Bible tells me that, "He sent his word, and healed them,……………… (Psalms 107:20)
 Just
sent it.   And it healed the folks! So, if you would just accept
the Word of God, then the power of God will accompany it.  Whatever
you Will need in this life or the life that is to come, it is found with the
Word of God.  If you need healing, healing is right there; need
wisdom, wisdom is right there.  Wisdom is in the Word of God. If
you need finance, that is right with the Word of God.  So, when we
receive the Word of God, we have everything.
There was a woman once that was to be sold (she and her
children). She saw a prophet about it, because the Word of the Lord was with
Him, and told him the condition of things.  Right away the Word of
God gave him a thought and he asked her what did she have in her house.  She
told him, "Just a little oil." Thank God, but that was sufficient because the
Word of God was there.  The prophet instructed her to borrow
vessels and borrow not a few. She went out and borrowed and he told her to
pour.  She poured until she filled every vessel that she had; then
the Word of God made a sale for her. She had a good sale.  She sold
the oil and got out of debt and had a plenty to live on—she and her
children.
2Kings 4:1 - 7 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the
prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest
that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my
two sons to be bondmen.  And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do
for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid
hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. Then he said, Go, borrow
thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.  And
when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and
shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is
full.  So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon
her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.   And
it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring
me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil
stayed.  Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go,
sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.
So, I want to say to my hearers tonight that the Word of the Lord, praise God,
carries the power of God with it.  Whatever you will need, thank
God, it is found with the Word of God.
“……And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick. at Capernaum. When he
heard that Jesus was come out of Judea into Galilee, he went unto him, and
besought him that he would come down, and heal his son: for he was at the point
of death. Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not
believe.  The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down here my child
die.  Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And Jesus
had spoken unto him, and he went his way. (John
4:46-50)
All of that was written for our learning: You have the power
working with you when you accept God's word. "And as he was now going down, his
servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth. Then inquired he of them
the hour when he began to mend.   And they said unto him, Yesterday
at the seventh hour the fever left him.  So the father knew that it
was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: . . .
(John 4:51-53)   So
then, I want to say that when you have the Word of God, you have the Power of
God and the power of God is sufficient.
They tell me there was a day that great men had gathered
together and the Bible tells me the power of God (as Jesus was teaching) was
present, thank God, to heal.  Peter preached it after the day of
Pentecost in the Fifth chapter of Acts of the Apostles, verses 12 thru16. “…….
by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the
people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.  And
of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them.  And
believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women;)
Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on
beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow
some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto
Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed…” They wanted to get
where the Word of God was: They could not get it out there where they were; they
had to come where the Word was and believe the Word.  By believing
the Word, the Bible says “….
and they were healed everyone. (Acts 5:16)
These three kings came together, praise God, and got in
trouble because there was "no water" in the land.  No water in the
land for nobody!  When it got in this condition some wise one
inquired: IS THERE NOT HERE A PROPHET OF THE LORD?  I
want to say when you get a prophet of the Lord, he will straighten out things;
he will set you right; everything will go well.   Nobody can say
differently that has accepted the Word of God.  So, somebody
inquired here: Is there not here a prophet of the Lord?  That
is what, the country needs now, a prophet of the Lord."  If they
had a prophet of the Lord, they would not be christening babies and sprinkling
old folks, bowing heads, and raising hands, baptizing using the titles Father,
Son, and Holy Ghost, and making decisions.  They would not be doing
that, if they had a man of God.  You can know assuredly when such
damnable doctrine is practiced, the man of God is nowhere around, if he was, he
would set things in order.
The man of God told them to…. “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." (Acts 2:38)
 The
man of God asked them in the 19th chapter of Acts and the 2nd verse “…… Have ye
received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? …”  He did not ask them,
"Have you joined the Church?   Have you “made a decision” for
Christ?   Have you accepted Christ as a personal Savior?   You
ought to join some Church." That's damnable doctrine.   That is the
doctrine of men. If they had the man of God, then the entire country would have
a chance to be delivered from their terrible distress as these people were here
when these three kings came together.
2Kings 3:9 - 14 So the king of Israel went, and the king of Judah, and the king
of Edom: and they fetched a compass of seven days’ journey: and there was no
water for the host, and for the cattle that followed them. 2Ki3:10 And the king
of Israel said, Alas! that the LORD hath called these three kings together, to
deliver them into the hand of Moab!  2Ki3:11 But Jehoshaphat said, Is there
not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may inquire of the LORD by him? And one
of the king of Israel’s servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of
Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah. 2Ki3:12 And Jehoshaphat
said, The word of the LORD is with him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat
Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him. 2Ki3:13 And Elisha said unto
the king of Israel, What have I to do with thee? get thee to the prophets of thy
father, and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of Israel said unto him,
Nay: for the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into
the hand of Moab. 2Ki3:14 And Elisha said, As the LORD of hosts liveth, before
whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the
king of Judah, I would not look toward thee, nor see thee.

But the man of God (the one that loved the Word of God) could not get around ... could not get by without it and did not want to. He always kept the Word of God before him: that we are going to do what the Word of God says do. He said, “Is there not here a prophet of the Lord,….” (II Kings 3:11)
We are in trouble, and the only man that is going to bring us out of this —the
only thing that will be able to help us—is a man that has the Word of God with
him.
The world is in darkness now. It is going to remain in
darkness until they get a man of God. The minute they do, they will be delivered
from the power of the devil.
God will direct your heart into the truth of God if you are
honest. I received a letter today and this woman said that she was sleeping in
bed and the lights were out when God, Almighty, told her to turn on XERF. In the
dark, she fumbled and turned the radio on and I was right there. The trouble
with the world today is that they need a man of God. God knows!  He
had Elisha around there for for such an occasion loaded with the Word of God;
ready to tell them the truth; ready to tell them how to be delivered. God knew
this woman wanted to be delivered. He touched her and told her at the very time
that she ought to hear it. The minute I was on, He told her to turn on XERF. She
got it and now she is thanking God for it.
The world is in trouble; the world has to be delivered, thank
God, and nothing can deliver it but the eternal Word of God.
"Is there not here a prophet of the Lord, that we may inquire of the Lord by
him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here is Elisha
the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah. And Jehoshaphat
said, The word of the lord is with him.  So the king of Israel and
and the king of Edom went down to him. And Elisha said unto the king of Israel,
What have I to do with thee? get thee to the prophets of thy father* and to the
prophets of thy mother. And the king of Israel said unto him, Nay: for the Lord
hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab.
And Elisha said, As the Lord of hosts liveth, whom I stand, surely, were it not
that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look
toward thee, nor see thee. But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass,
when the minstrel that the hand of the Lord came upon him. And he said, Thus
saith the Lord, Make this valley full of ditches. For thus saith the Lord, Ye
shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled
with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle and your beasts. And
this is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord: …..(11 Kings 3:11-18)
IS THERE NOT HERE A PROPHET OF THE
LORD, THAT WE MAY INQUIRE OF THE LORD!  What the world
needs is a man of God.  Only then can the world know that it is one
thing for them to obey—by hearing the man of God. God bless you.
May the Lord
Bless you and Keep you and eternally hold you in the center of his will, may he
open your understanding that you will come to know that you must repent of your
sins and be baptized by immersion in water in the Name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of your sins, then continue in prayer, tarrying until you receive the
gift of the Holy Ghost with the sign following speaking with other tongues as
the spirit gives you utterances.  Then you must leave the principles of the
doctrine and go on to perfection overcoming the love of the world, the lust of
the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life and continue steadfastly
in the Apostle’s Doctrine remembering always that he that endures until the End,
the same shall be saved.  In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ who is God
Almighty. Amen

With perfect
love,
Apostle Dennis G.
Smith

Currently the
following groups are eligible for COVID vaccine in Georgia:

Everyone age 12 and older.  Note: Pfizer is the only COVID vaccine
currently approved for children aged 12 and older. People younger than 18 years
of age are not authorized to receive either the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson
COVID-19 vaccines.

 ONGOING
GUIDANCE for Red Zone
• Vaccination
remains the most effective protection against COVID-19
• Practice social
distancing
• Frequently wash
hands
• Frequent
cleaning of public and high touch areas
• Practice
telework and staggered office schedules where feasible, with safety measures
• Non-essential
City facilities may open to the public. Masking will be mandated for now and the
number of persons indoors may be limited to avoid crowding

Social
Distancing guidelines:
• Social
distancing means staying away from close contact in public spaces. It includes
actions like staying out of places where lots of people gather and maintaining
distance — approximately 6 feet — from others.
• Social
distancing also includes minimizing contact with people when possible, limiting
nonessential travel, working from home, and skipping social gatherings.
• All people
should practice social distancing — not just those who are seriously ill or at
high risk.
• Social
distancing is a proven way to slow the spread of pandemics.

When to Wear a
Mask:
Those who are
staying home and have no close contact with people who are infected with
COIVID-19 do not need a mask most of the time. However, wearing a nonmedical or
homemade mask may be helpful in certain situations or for certain populations. Wear
a Mask when:
• Shopping at
essential businesses, like grocery stores or pharmacies.
• While visiting
your health care provider.
• Traveling on
public transportation.
• Interacting
with customers/clients at essential businesses.
• When feeling
sick, coughing, or sneezing.
• In all public
spaces indoors and outdoors.

Because homemade
masks protect everyone else from the droplets created by the wearer, it is
important that as many people as possible wear these masks when leaving their
homes. This helps prevent those who may be infectious but are only mildly
symptomatic or not symptomatic from spreading the virus to others in the
community.
Everyone should
remember the phrase: “My mask protects you; your mask protects me.” By
increasing the overall number of people who are containing their coughs,
sneezes, and other droplets, it will help us control the overall spread of the
virus.
